Learn how to transfer images onto linoleum blocks and use various carving tools to carve intricate designs. Explore different carving techniques and learn how to operate our etching press to print your linoleum blocks.
This is an image based linoleum carving workshop. Come prepared with ideas of what your print might look like or images that you plan to carve. If you have an idea involving text, keep in mind that this will need to be hand carved as a mirrored image, from the linoleum material. We will be working with 5x8 linoleum on 8x10 paper.
